(Section A-II/1 of the STCW Code and IMO Resolution A-482(XII)

The course for radar observer and automatic radar plotting aids “ARPA”– Management Level (A-II/2, A-VIII/2 – 3.1, B-I/12 and B-VIII/2 – 3.1) is designed for Chief Officers and Masters who are in charge of navigation and bridge team leaders.

Duration of course: 2 days

Attendance: Minimum 4 trainees per day.

The course aims to meet the mandatory minimum requirements for knowledge, understanding and proficiency in Table A-II/2 of STCW 1978, as amended and IMO recommendation (IMO resolution A.477, A.823, A.424 and A.478)
